Electromagnetic pollution can seriously affect human life. First, in the military and commuNication fields, electromagnetic wave leakage can lead to information leakage. Electromagnetic interference can also seriously damage the military's command, control, and communication systems. Many countries deeply recognize the importance of electromagnetic shielding and have carried out electromagnetic protection on communication equipment in many defense fields.
Therefore, the development, research, and application of electromagnetic shielding Materials have become particularly important and urgent.
Sprayable Conductive Shielding Materials
Sprayable conductive coatings in engineering plastics, glass fiber reinforced plastic, wood, cement surfaces, and other non-Metallic materials, with room temperature curing, and strong adhesion advantages. It is electromagnetic shielding cell phones, monitors, printers, and other non-metallic shells of the simplest way to deal with. Conductive coatings are low cost, simple and practical, widely applicable, and can be divided into silver, copper, shackle, and carbon.
(1) Silver conductivity is the highest, stable performance, and excellent shielding effect, but expensive. Currently, it is only used to prevent high electromagnetic requirements of aerospace and other high-tech fields.
(2) The conductivity of the copper system is second only to the silver system, and inexpensive, so copper powder is one of the ideal conductive fillers for the preparation of electromagnetic shielding coatings. As the newly prepared copper powder's surface is easily oxidized, the conductivity decreases rapidly. Therefore, the antioxidant technology of copper powder is the key technology for the preparation of conductive and stable copper-based conductive coatings
(3) Shackle-based conductive coatings have good chemical stability, electromagnetic wave absorption and scattering ability, good shielding effect, strong antioxidant ability, and moderate price, and become the mainstream of electromagnetic shielding coatings in Europe and the United States and other countries.
(4) Carbon conductive coatings are usually made of carbon black. Its advantages are cheap, good chemical stability, small relative density, and good dispersion, but due to the weak conductive ability of carbon conductive coatings, generally used as anti-static coatings, are rarely used as electromagnetic shielding coatings.
In addition to surface spraying electromagnetic shielding coatings, but also the use of metal foils, metal fusion spraying, magnetron sputtering, electroplating or chemical plating, and other methods to obtain a very thin metal layer on the surface of non-metallic materials, to achieve the purpose of shielding. Due to the complexity of the process, high technical requirements, expensive and other conditions, the current application is not widely used.
