Aluminum foamed is a porous metal material with excellent properties such as energy absorption buffering, electromagnetic shielding, sound absorption and noise reduction, high temperature resistance, and strong weather resistance. In this tunnel renovation, a systematic solution was designed according to the characteristics of the aluminum foamed material and the needs of the Haoshan Tunnel Project. The inner wall of the tunnel uses 10 mm thick foam aluminum plate, and a 50 mm cavity is reserved at the back, and the light steel keel is used for installation. The aluminum foamed material applied to the inner wall of the tunnel can form a diffuse reflection surface, so that the light from the entrance to the tunnel gradually transitions, and effectively avoids glare (ghosting) when passing through the tunnel. At the same time, the aluminum foam material also has the characteristics of noise reduction, fire resistance, light weight and easy replacement, environmental protection and long life, which will help improve the overall performance of the tunnel.
